In Remembrance

Statuen auf dem Langemark Friedhof

One of the greatest motivators, if not the greatest, is the remembrance of the victims of this war. All those who were physically, emotionally and otherwise injured, who were left helpless and traumatised by the war. As well as the devastated families and children left behind. We want to keep their memory alive and prevent them from being forgotten. That is why we not only want to educate and raise awareness, but also take part in commemorative events at home and especially abroad and regularly visit military cemeteries. However, the First World War has almost been forgotten in Germany or is repeatedly pushed to the brink of oblivion, as it is overshadowed by the Second World War in many respects. This is in contrast to our neighbours, where the commemoration of the First World War is still very important, as is demonstrated every year on 11 November by Armistice Day, the Poppies and many associated commemorative events. We are very keen to play our part in the commemoration and culture of remembrance so that this never happens again.

Im stillen Gedenken.

Lest we forget.

Pour la memoire.
