Equipment
This section mainly deals with soldiers’ equipment from the First World War. This also includes the development during the war, as many items of equipment changed rapidly during the conflict. In addition, these were far less uniform than we imagine today. The German Industrial Standard (DIN) also dates back to this war, but this is dealt with in a different section.
